7 Vedic Maths Tricks That Feel Like Magic
Multiply two 2-digit numbers in your head? Square numbers ending in 5 instantly? Yes — and it's ancient Indian math.

1. Squaring numbers ending in 5
Example: 75². Take the first digit (7), multiply by (7+1)=8 → 56. Append 25 → 5625. Done in 3 seconds.
2. Multiplying by 11
54 × 11: put 5 and 4 with their sum in between → 5(5+4)4 → 594.
3. Nikhilam multiplication
For numbers close to 100. Say 98 × 97. Differences from 100 are 2 & 3. Answer: (98−3 or 97−2)=95, and 2×3=06. Result: 9506.
4. Vertical & crosswise
The universal 2-digit multiplication technique — works for any pair.
